After a wonderful weekend with my hubby, spending time with friends at the Texas Ranger game, and enjoying a little downtime before the week, Sunday is here again, which is usually a day most people dread. On any other Sunday, I would be dreading it, too, but I’m not. Instead, I’m excited about what this week has to offer me. Here are just a couple of things that I’ll be working on:
- Writing/editing “Cards From Khloe’s Flower Shop”: After having three beta readers read my next release, I have been inspired to add more to this book. I’m having a great time expanding the storyline with my characters, along with editing through it, too. My goal for this week is to write at least 2,000 words a day, (positive vibes are welcome).
- Writing a blurb for CFKFS: Writing blurbs aren’t fun, and they’re hard to do. I plan on reading up on how to do this the most effective way. I’m hoping to at least have somewhat of a rough draft of this by Friday.
- Writing Blog Posts: Monday: Part of being an author also means that you need to gain fans, keep people up to date on your work, and be present online. A great way to do this is by writing blog posts. This means that I will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Here are the topics I’ll be covering: Monday Inspiration, A Writer’s Life Wednesday, and Furry Friday!
- Returning emails!: Don’t you hate it when your email and/or Internet don’t work? Well, for a few weeks now, my email has been on the brink. I’m on my last nerve with “error 993,” so I’m hoping that my email cooperates this week.
Now, here’s to you, and wishing you a wonderful week!
