First of all, I’d like to thank Deb Nam-Krane for starting this blog hop! Be sure to click HERE to see all the stops!
When I signed up to be part of this blog hop, I instantly thought of my favorite TV show, “Friends”! While I’ve never been one to remember lines from other TV shows or movies, somehow with this show it’s different. I can almost recite every line from each episode, and whenever I get a chance to watch it, I will, (thank goodness for TBS reruns).
What I love most about this show is how it taught you that things aren’t always going to be same. Life changes, people grow up, get married, have babies, and move away. Though, through all that, your true friends will always be there for you.
From the first scene of the show (when Rachel shows up in a wedding dress looking for Monica, to the last one, where they all put their keys on the counter of the famous apartment that was always purple), I laughed (way too many lines to remember for this one), I cried way too many times at the big moments (when Rachel and Ross were lobsters, and when they were on a break, when Chandler and Monica got engaged, and when learned they were going to be parents — “God bless you, Chandler Bing,”), and learned what real friendship are like.
It’s hard to say what my favorite episodes are (that’s like asking which child is your favorite)…I just can’t pick, so I’ve narrowed it down to three:
Episode – The One Where No One’s Ready:
Episode – The One with the Proposal:
Episode – The Last One:
Overall, “Friends” was always there for me. If I was having a bad day, was sick, or anything else was going on in my life, I got to catch up with my good old pals, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Joey, and Phoebe!
Leave me a comment, and tell me what your favorite episode of “Friends”. I’d love to chat about it! 🙂
